Responsibilities
Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and design documents related to concrete works
Prepare and coordinate shop drawings and as-built drawings for concrete structures
Assist in resolving technical issues that arise during construction
Prepare technical submittals, RFIs (Request for Information), and material submittals for client/consultant approval
Maintain project documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and updated
Generate progress reports and ensure compliance with project milestones
Estimate quantities of materials needed for concrete works and ensure timely procurement
Evaluate and recommend suppliers for concrete and associated materials
Monitor material usage to minimize waste and optimize costs
Qualification
Required
Proficient in reviewing and interpreting architectural and structural plans with specialization in building design, materials, and structural systems
Expertise in California Building Codes (CBC) and Los Angeles Municipal Codes (LAMC) for architectural and structural compliance
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in identifying and drafting Requests for Information (RFIs) for architectural and structural components
Bachelor's degree/MS in Civil Engineering or a related field
should have experience and familiar with California building code(CBC)
