Responsibilities
Full ownership of the general ledger, close, and financial reporting
Lead a team of 5, x1 Accounting Manager, x1 AP professional and x3 Accountants
Deliver month-end, quarter-end and year-end close with discipline and consistency
Own audit preparation and delivery, on time and clean
Maintain strong internal controls and accounting standards across the business
Is talented in process improvement & automation
Build absolute confidence in the numbers at executive level
Qualification
Required
Proven Controller
Background in balance-sheet-driven environments within a small to medium sized lending, leasing, financial services or asset-heavy businesses advantageous
Strong US GAAP knowledge and judgment-led accounting experience
Confident people leader who takes pride in developing their team
Preferred
CPA preferred but not essential
