5+ years expPM Hotel Group is seeking an Accounting Manager for their dual-branded Hyatt properties. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, educating associates on corporate policies, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reconciliations and audits.
Responsibilities
Communicate and train properties on Accounting Procedures
Verify the accuracy of night audit work through Excel spreadsheets and web-based applications
Assist properties in the reconciliation and billing of city ledger accounts
Trace all credit card /cash deposits from PMS system to each bank account on a daily basis. Research any missing deposits or shortages
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting or a similar field
At least 5 years' supervisory experience in accounting/finance
Excellent communication skills
Ability to positively and professionally communicate directives and guidance to your department
Preferred
Previous experience in hotels
