Responsibilities
Monitor and perform analysis on key service provider metrics, service levels, and controls and act as a liaison between service provider and Nomura
Provide cross functional support vendor management, user access, and Management / Board reporting
Implementation of new initiatives and controls
Special Projects: Represent Transfer Agent and serve as liaison to service providers
Oversight of services provided by external transfer agent, including, but not limited to:
Call Center
New Account Set-up
Transaction Processing
Statements
Account Holder Inquiries
Client Statements and Confirmations
Client Tax Reporting
Financial Control (money movement / reconciliations)
Lost Shareholder / Escheatment process
Operational support for fund and firm initiatives including new fund launches, share class launches, fund mergers, name changes, fund proxies, and tender offers
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of Mutual Fund Transfer Agent shareholder services, controls, and operations
Technical background with the ability to be business liaison with IT
Possess data gathering, data reporting, and data analysis skills
3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel)
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders
