Occupational Therapy Fellowship (Full-Time 32 hours) Jefferson Moss-Magee Elkins Park

They are seeking an Occupational Therapy Fellow who will evaluate and treat patients, develop and enhance therapy services, and participate in a comprehensive training program over 53 weeks.

Responsibilities
Perform evaluation and treatment of patients upon referral to relieve pain, prevent disability, develop and improve skills and restore function
Provide service to adolescent, adult, older adult and frail elderly age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served
Participate in a minimum of 1500 hours of supervised treatment, clinical practice, specialty practice observation and classroom/lab instruction
Develop and enhance Occupational therapy services, educational programs and/or research within the practice of Occupational therapy, a department or program, or AEHN, as per the direction of the Fellowship Coordinator
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree, entry level Master's Degree or DOT degree, or Bachelor's Degree plus certification in OT from an AOTA accredited curriculum required
Pennsylvania licensure in Occupational Therapy required
NBCOT certification required
Preferred
At least one year of clinical experience preferred with outstanding clinical skills and/or exceptional interest in the treatment of patients with neurologic injuries demonstrated by program development, clinical education, research or patient care and as documented on the residency application
