ANALYST II
Caltrans is dedicated to improving lives and communities through transportation. The Analyst II serves as the District Safety Specialist, responsible for researching safety-related issues, conducting field operational reviews, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Researching and addressing safety related issues
Provide recommendations and reports to the management
Reviews accident investigations
Monitors crew compliance
Conducts field operational reviews
Completing and monitoring annual facility inspections and reports using applicable checklists and regulations
Actively participate in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
Available for emergency operations
Responsible for all safety-related investigations, reports and work activities affecting the employees within the district
Perform additional duties as necessary, based on operational need
Adheres to HIPPA and confidentiality policies
Single point of contact for safety guidance related to the Department's Injury and Illness Prevention Program (llPP)
Qualification
Required
Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle
The position(s) require(s) a valid and unrestricted Class C driver's license
Statement of Qualification (SOQ) is required
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

Applicants with foreign transcripts/degrees must provide a transcript/degree U.S. equivalency report evaluation that indicates the number of units and degree to which the foreign coursework is equivalent
