Responsibilities
Build & Pipeline Automation: Architect CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab) for workflows, automating synthesis, timing analysis, and bitstream generation
Linux & Network Optimization: Tune the host OS for ultra-low latency, specifically configuring Solarflare/OpenOnload adapters and optimizing kernel bypass networking
Infrastructure Management: Manage and scale Linux-based build farms (Slurm/LSF) to handle computationally intensive compiles (Vivado/Quartus)
Hardware/Software Debugging: troubleshoot board bring-up issues, PCIe enumeration, and driver conflicts alongside trading system engineers
Tooling: Write robust automation scripts in Python and Tcl to glue together EDA tools, operating systems, and monitoring dashboards
Qualification
Required
5+ years of deep Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS). Must understand kernel modules, drivers, and system tuning
Experience with Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus workflows (command line/scripting focus)
Strong proficiency in Python, CI/CD (Jenkins), and configuration management (Ansible)
Experience managing accelerated network cards (Solarflare, Mellanox) and multicast environments
