Responsibilities
Write, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases
Lead and complete client data conversion efforts, coordinating with implementation teams and client stakeholders to meet project milestones
Partner with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to gather data requirements, identify reporting needs, and deliver high-impact solutions
Integrate query functionality into BBCS applications and provide guidance on data migration, file mapping, and translation with internal and external teams
Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure data efficiency and accuracy
Remain updated on industry best practices, document standards and processes, and participate in company-wide efforts to uphold our quality and service standards
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be located in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington or Wyoming and must not require sponsorship
Proven expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries and working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Experience with business analysis, interpreting data needs, and supporting ad hoc data requests
Confidence in leading client-facing projects and collaborating with stakeholders
Familiarity with relational data modeling principles and scripting/programming concepts
A BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
