Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the GNC team, including mentoring and performance management
Develop project plans, track performance metrics, and ensure timely completion of milestones within budget
Contribute directly to the development and validation of GNC algorithms and systems, including simulations, flight software, and hardware-in-the-loop testing
Support mission planning, requirements development, and risk analysis for GNC functions
Oversee the design, development, and analysis of guidance laws, navigation filters, and control systems
Interface with stakeholders, including program leadership and GNC management, to communicate technical progress, challenges, and solutions
Develop advanced GNC systems, including Guidance and Autopilot Algorithms, Navigation Systems, Sensor and Tracking Systems, and Simulation of Vehicle Dynamics

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Expertise using simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) and GNC modeling techniques
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Master's or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline
Proven experience managing technical teams, including schedule and resource planning
Seven (7) years of experience in Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems, with demonstrated technical depth in algorithms, software, and/or hardware development
Knowledge of missile, launch vehicle, or tactical GNC systems
Experience with software validation, flight testing, or mission-critical system design
