Part-time RPA Developer
InDev is seeking a part-time Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to be a key contributor to automation initiatives supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The role involves designing, developing, testing, and implementing automation processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs in business operations.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support RPA solutions using UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate / Power Automate Desktop
Produce and maintain process documentation, technical designs, and automation artifacts
Work closely with and effectively communicate, both technically and non-technically with Development team members, customer stakeholders, infrastructure teams, Product Owners, government stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts across business and operational domains
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and operational processes and translate them into automation-ready workflows
Participate in business and operational process re-engineering efforts to identify, evaluate, and prioritize automation opportunities
Integrate automation solutions with COTS platforms, enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources
Implement exception handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure reliability and supportability of automation solutions
Ensure automation solutions comply with security, privacy, and compliance requirements
Participate in Agile development activities, including daily standups, sprint planning, and sprint reviews
Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing automation solutions
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience supporting the design and development of information systems or applications
3+ years of hands-on RPA development experience using UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Automate
Demonstrated experience with: Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Workflow automation and orchestration, Business process mapping and documentation, COTS system integration
Experience implementing exception handling, logging, and monitoring in production automations
Familiar with development using the Oracle APEX application platform
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in regulated or secure environments (DHS or federal experience preferred)
Strong collaboration, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline OR 4+ years of relevant specialized experience in lieu of degree
Preferred
Experience with UiPath Orchestrator and/or Power Platform environment management, including scheduling, deployments, and credential handling
Familiarity with secure automation practices, such as credential vaults, role-based access, and secure data handling
Experience writing SQL to query Oracle database systems
Exposure to AI/ML-enabled automation or intelligent document processing
Familiarity with low-code logic, expressions, or scripting (UiPath expressions, Power Fx, basic scripting)
Experience with version control or automation lifecycle management (ALM) practices
Experience supporting or working within an RPA / Automation Center of Excellence (CoE)
UiPath or Microsoft Power Platform certifications
