They are seeking an Advanced CNC Grinder to support the production of precision components by setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and inspecting CNC grinding machines in a safe manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC grinding machines in accordance with work orders, blueprints, and specifications
Start and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions, and report discrepancies to lead or supervisor
Conduct thorough first-part inspections and make adjustments as needed
Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring tools
Adjust machine controls for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut to optimize efficiency and quality
Read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings
Recognize and communicate production or quality problems, escalating as appropriate
Complete assigned tasks within required timeframes with moderate supervision
Assist in training or supporting entry-level operators as needed
Follow all company safety guidelines, including proper use of equipment and protective procedures
Perform miscellaneous duties in the machine shop or other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in CNC machining or grinding operations within a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC machines
Working knowledge of speeds, feeds, and machine functions
Ability to independently follow instructions and concentrate for long periods of time
Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Consistent work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Preferred
Good writing and verbal communication skills
Experience with MS applications
Strong skills and aptitude in math
Completion of vocational or college training in machine shop (Certificate of completion of basic machining course)
