Responsibilities
Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities, intercompany transactions, identifying unusual items and resolving discrepancies as needed
Assist with the month-end close process, including the clearing of cash items, preparation of journal entries and accruals
Support accounts receivable efforts, including generation and reconciliation of customer invoices
Maintain proper documentation and schedules to support journal entries and account balances
Collaborate with the Senior Accountant and broader accounting team to streamline workflows, implement best practices, and reduce manual effort
Perform data entry and support maintenance of SAP master data, ensuring accuracy of vendor, customer, and GL account records
Assist in financial analysis and reporting as needed
Provide cross-functional support to other areas of the accounting department when required
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new systems quickly
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
BA / BS from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Familiarity with US GAAP
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
Preferred
Experience in a multi-entity or renewable energy company a plus
Experience with SAP (S/4HANA) required, public cloud environment a plus
