Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-facing features on time
Lead detailed design, implementation, and unit testing across both frontend and backend
Build, maintain, and improve distributed, scalable backend services running on Kubernetes
Develop clean, maintainable, and fast front-end and back-end code with modern tooling
Participate in code reviews and help elevate team engineering standards and best practices
Contribute to product experimentation, A/B tests, and analytics instrumentation to support growth initiatives
Support and debug production issues, including participation in on-call rotations
Qualification
Required
3+ years of software engineering experience in full-stack or backend/product-facing roles
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Go, Python, or Java (proficiency in at least one; willingness to work across the stack)
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Solid understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs, and backend microservices
Strong product instincts — you enjoy collaborating on user-facing features and thinking about growth
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
Fluent with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude)
Preferred
Experience with SaaS or PLG/self-serve products
Familiarity with A/B testing, funnel analysis, or product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.)
Experience implementing or consuming event tracking pipelines
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud-native tooling
Exposure to large-scale distributed systems serving millions of users
Prior startup experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Open-source contribution experience
