Responsibilities

The focus of the summer intern will be on assisting the development activities of process optimization, Improvement and automation in the oligonucleotide production for existing and new products
This will include assisting in oligonucleotide production and characterization by HPLC/UPLC, LCMS, and UV-Vis
The intern will be assisting/performing the experiments in the lab under the guidance of a mentor, documenting the experimental results and will share the findings within the team
The intern will also take part in the group meetings between R&D, process development and manufacturing teams across multiple sites and may share the experimental results and feedback as required

Required

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)
Completed at least 2 years of college/university to be eligible for the program
Must have a ≥ 3.0 GPA
Required Majors: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering or related fields
Previous research or process development experience in the industry/academia
Experience in high throughput automation process or programming
Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
