Responsibilities
Take ownership of escalated cases, including appeals and denied claims, and conduct thorough reviews to determine the best possible outcome
Communicate decisions clearly and respectfully while educating customers on coverage, policy expectations, and next steps
De-escalate challenging situations by listening actively, demonstrating empathy, and guiding conversations toward resolution
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cases move forward efficiently and accurately
Maintain detailed documentation, manage deadlines, and uphold high accuracy standards
Represent the company with professionalism, composure, and a solutions-oriented mindset on every interaction
Qualification
Required
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required)
Experience in escalations, customer resolutions, dispute management, collections, customer retention, or a similar high-touch environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
Confidence in navigating emotionally charged conversations while maintaining control and professionalism
Solid problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think independently
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems
Preferred
Claims or insurance experience is a plus, but not required
