Program Assistant I - Engineering, Design & Society Department

Colorado School of Mines is an internationally recognized university focused on resource development and technological advancement. The Program Assistant I position provides academic program and outreach support for the Engineering, Design & Society department, assisting in the administration of various academic programs and supporting program leadership in financial management and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Supporting program operations across diverse undergraduate and graduate, departmental and interdepartmental, research and donor-supported programs and projects
Supporting EDS department and program leadership in administering EDS’s academic programs, including enrollment and assessment data tracking, archiving, and reporting
Updating the website and social-media accounts
Tracking and reporting on funded project deliverables
Coordinating student workers in supporting these tasks
Managing finances and financial reporting
Supporting outreach and stakeholder engagement efforts
Interpreting budget materials, guidelines, and processes to exercise discretion in budget decision-making

Required

Four (4) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position, including work in communications, managing and organizing information, must be able to manage competing priorities, have familiarity with marketing and outreach

A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to four (4) years. (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR EDUCATIONAL CREDIT)
