Engages in laboratory, translational, or clinical research under the direction and guidance of a faculty member, developing skills necessary for success as an independent investigator
Contribute to ongoing research by conducting experiments, analyzing data, or participating in clinical investigations
Aspires to excellence in work quality and quantity
Shows growth technically and intellectually
Contributes to mentor-directed research
Demonstrates capabilities to produce quality original research or clinical care
Develops skills in a research and/or clinical specialty

Beyond minimum required, experience writing research reports concerning own work and familiarity with a biomedical discipline, upon hire
