Responsibilities
Lead and execute infrastructure projects including new client onboarding, server and network deployments, and cloud migrations
Design and implement Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including tenant builds, migrations, and security configuration
Serve as a senior escalation resource for complex Tier 3 issues alongside project responsibilities
Provide infrastructure guidance and technical recommendations to C-level and senior client stakeholders
Assist with project coordination and execution, functioning as a technical lead or assistant project manager when needed
Support and mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers through escalation support and technical guidance
Implement and maintain secure environments using industry best practices and security frameworks
Participate in architecture discussions covering backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, documentation, and technical standards
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Windows Server operating systems and core roles
Advanced administration of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Microsoft Intune
Experience with cloud migrations, hybrid environments, and identity management
Hands-on networking experience including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, firewalls, NAT, IPS/IDS, and QoS
Wireless technologies including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
Solid understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and data management best practices
Security tooling experience such as: Endpoint protection and EDR, Email security and DNS filtering, SIEM, RMM, and vulnerability scanning, Conditional Access, BitLocker, MFA, SSO, PAM/PIM, Firewall / UTM platforms and VPN solutions
Familiarity with common security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, HIPAA, Zero Trust)
A senior-level engineer comfortable owning projects from design through delivery
Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and executives
Ability to balance project work with escalation support in an MSP environment
A proactive mindset focused on security, scalability, and long-term client success
