Responsibilities
Perform tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance
Comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Quality Procedures (QPs) and Local Work Instructions
Accomplish review of Work Order (W/O) documentation prior to Final Release of articles
Supports Chief Inspector in training, documentation, compliance monitoring, internal audits to meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 145
Conduct a complete vision and mechanical inspection of all incoming parts and materials, including inspecting items being shipped
Function as primary liaison for various customers & suppliers in order to resolve quality issues
Qualification
Required
5 years previous MRO quality experience
Conducting detailed inspection of aircraft fire bottles and oxygen masks/bottles to ensure they meet airworthiness requirements
Maintain accurate records of inspection & maintenance activities
Ensure adherence to airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and FAA/EASA/UK/CAAC regulations
Overseeing quality systems, including procedure and policy compliance
Continued conformance to AS9100 Rev.D and ISO9001:2015 requirements
Performing internal and supplier audits
Maintaining an effective corrective/preventive action system for internal and external problems
Function as primary liaison for various customers in order to resolve quality issues

High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years as a Quality Management in an overhaul & repair environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills
Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written)
Familiar with MRO documentation (Ex. Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), CMM (Component Maintenance Manuals), 8130's, Capabilities Manual)
Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail
Proven team player who has demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: excellent communication, interpersonal skills, well-developed problem-solving skills; solid organizational skills; and the demonstrated ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of an organization
Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong computer skills are a must, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Aerospace experience is strongly preferred
A&P License a Basic plus
Capable of growing into the Chief Inspector position
