The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Go, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures, and will lead technical design while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability backend services using Golang
Architect and implement microservices and REST/gRPC APIs
Build concurrent and high-throughput systems leveraging Go routines and channels
Collaborate with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Lead system design, code reviews, and performance optimization
Ensure best practices for security, reliability, and observability
Troubleshoot production issues and improve system resilience
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making
Participate in architecture discussions and technology roadmap planning
Qualification
Required
8+ years of backend development experience
5+ years of hands-on Golang development
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
Concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in Go
Experience building microservices architectures
Expertise with RESTful APIs and/or gRPC
Strong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in Linux environments
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub)
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
Exposure to DDD (Domain-Driven Design)
Prior experience in high-scale or low-latency systems
Open-source contributions in Go
