Sales Development Representative
SV Academy has partnered with a Financial Technology company that offers a unique approach to payments infrastructure. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate demand, engage prospects, and convert interest into qualified opportunities for the sales team.

Responsibilities
Quickly develop a deep understanding of our partner’s Ideal Customer Profile, core use cases, and value propositions to target the best-fit companies
Own and properly manage a healthy territory of high-fit accounts
Proactively generate conversations and effectively showcase their products across all channels: LinkedIn, cold calling, email, video, and region-specific channels (WhatsApp, WeChat, etc.)
Convert these meaningful engagements into qualified opportunities for their Account Executive team
Partner with the marketing department to collaborate on in-person and virtual events to generate demand
Use modern tools, including AI-powered workflows, to work smarter, personalise outreach, and improve performance
Manage and prioritise your time to consistently meet and exceed your targets
Bring a winner’s mindset and high-performance attitude to the team every day
Qualification
Required
Experience in a previous Sales / Business Development role as part of a SaaS or B2B company
Ability to proactively engage new customers through email and phone
Coachability, accountability, and consistency in efforts to develop knowledge and results
A consultative and human sales approach that acknowledges that every conversation is different
Performance-driven, competitive, and energized by hitting and surpassing targets
