Research Fellow-PC-Gastroenterology
Mayo Clinic Healthcare London is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to support a basic and translational research program in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The ideal candidate will conduct research on mechanisms of IBD pathogenesis and therapy resistance, utilizing patient-derived samples and established mouse models.

Presenting data
Preparing manuscripts
Supporting grant submissions
Mentor laboratory technicians, visiting scholars, and trainees in experimental design and data analysis
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular/Cell Biology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, or a related field
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are required
Preferred
Prior postdoctoral experience is helpful but not required
Strong background in multi‑omics is highly preferred
Proficiency in molecular biology (DNA/RNA isolation, qPCR, western blot, ELISA)
Proficiency in immunology techniques (flow cytometry, cell isolation, immunohistochemistry)
Proficiency in cell culture and co‑culture systems
Proficiency in mouse handling (genotyping, injections, drug administration, tissue harvesting)
Proficiency in R and/or Python for bioinformatic analysis (transcriptomics, metagenomics, etc.)
Microbiology experience is a plus
