Temporary – Student Life Associate
Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) is seeking a Temporary – Student Life Associate to support the Office of Student Life and the Division of Student Affairs. The role involves creating a welcoming student experience, managing photo ID supplies, and assisting with various student life program offerings and events.
Higher Education
Responsibilities
Creates student photo IDs, manages and orders photo ID supplies and troubleshoots photo ID technology as needed
Greets and directs students in person and over the phone
Manages inventory of office materials
Monitors the department email inbox, answering questions and forwarding messages as necessary
Maintains an organized and welcoming environment for students inside the Student Life suite
Supports Director of Student Life in College programming initiatives and takes ownership of programs when appropriate
Assists with a variety of special projects and reports, including supporting other offices and campus-wide events
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or educational equivalent
Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week
Ability to work some evenings and weekends, particularly at the beginning of academic terms and at other times to support student enrollment and department events
Preferred
Associate's degree
Experience in an office environment
Experience working in a higher education setting
