Manufacturing Quality Engineer - 3rd Shift (10pm-6am)

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and report manufacturing process performance on a regular basis
Use performance data to identify risk areas and lead cross functional teams in implementing process/product improvements through documented corrective action procedures
Investigate performance trends (positive or negative), determine root causes, and share findings for lessons learned or corrective action
Prepare monthly quality reports, including KPIs from all functional areas; develop KPIs when needed from available data
Manage containment activities for high risk or quality issues, ensuring proper documentation and customer protection
Conduct internal audits according to the audit schedule
Assist with scheduled product audits
Support and deliver Quality Tool Training sessions as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Comply with quality policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, and environmental responsibility
Perform other tasks as assigned to support manufacturing quality objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Technology, Process Engineering, or related field OR 5+ years of progressive experience in supplier quality, process quality, manufacturing operations, or related supplier interactive roles
Knowledge and application of: PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
Knowledge and application of: FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
Knowledge and application of: Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge and application of: ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards
Knowledge and application of: GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Knowledge and application of: Capability Analysis
Knowledge and application of: Corrective Action Tools
Knowledge and application of: Design for Manufacturability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Word)

Preferred

Professional certifications (QE, SQE, etc.) from ASQ or similar organizations
