They are hiring a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design efforts, ensuring technical quality and coordinating across multiple disciplines while maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities
Lead electrical design for data center/mission-critical projects: power distribution, lighting, grounding/bonding, emergency systems, and low-voltage coordination (as needed)
Develop and review deliverables: single-line diagrams, risers, equipment schedules, lighting plans, load calculations, and specifications
Coordinate with multi-discipline teams (MEP, architectural, structural) and external stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions
Perform or oversee electrical studies/analysis (as applicable): short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and local codes; support permitting and AHJ coordination
Participate in client meetings, site walks, and construction administration (RFI/submittal review, field issue resolution)
Mentor junior engineers/designers and contribute to QA/QC standards and best practices
Travel to project sites as needed to support design verification and construction-phase activities
Qualification
Required
BS in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
[7–12+] years of electrical design experience (data center / mission-critical strongly preferred)
Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and building electrical systems
Proficiency with common design tools (e.g., Revit/AutoCAD; Bluebeam)
Proven ability to lead portions of projects, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
Preferred
PE license (strongly preferred) or clear path/timeline to obtain
Data center infrastructure experience: UPS, generators, ATS/STS, switchgear, PDUs/RPPs, redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N)
Experience with SKM, ETAP, EasyPower (or similar)
Experience supporting fast-track projects and construction administration
