Responsibilities
Analyze and review accounting records and financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Process and reconcile a wide range of Accounts Payable invoices within the financial system
Generate and analyze financial reports to research, troubleshoot, and resolve payment issues
Verify and correct financial data by reviewing coding, backup documentation, and mathematical accuracy
Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations
Qualification
Required
Analyze and review accounting records and financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Process and reconcile a wide range of Accounts Payable invoices within the financial system
Generate and analyze financial reports to research, troubleshoot, and resolve payment issues
Verify and correct financial data by reviewing coding, backup documentation, and mathematical accuracy
Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research discrepancies and resolve complex payment issues
High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with financial data, coding, and compliance requirements
Technical proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools including a strong skillset in Microsoft Excel
Effective communication and collaboration skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external customers to resolve issues efficiently
30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an intermediate level of experience in spreadsheet software
Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 mos. exp. or 6 mos. trg. in accounting &/or finance to include an intermediate level of experience in spreadsheet software
Or 12 mos. exp. as Financial Associate, 66561
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above
Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications
