Bunch Design is a growing AIA award-winning residential architecture practice located in La Canada, CA. They are seeking a Designer with 3-6 years of experience to assist in presentations and design, collaborate on multiple projects, and contribute to the development of innovative small spaces.

Responsibilities

Assist Principals in presentations and design, learn how to make amazing small spaces, compounds, and happy clients. Do this in the Altadena fire rebuild areas
Collaborate with the team to design and execute multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent design and programming skills at multiple scales with intense curiosity and excellent aesthetic sensibilities
Work closely with the project team, consultants, and contractors
Help team assemble/ review interior design, allowances, and specifications. Interiors interest/experience appreciated!
Lots of room to grow within the company and a hands on experience at all levels of design and construction
Build independence and maturity and produce physical built work. Learn spacecraft. Practice what it takes to make real things quickly

Qualification

Professional degree in ArchitectureCustom design experienceFluency in CADAdobe Creative SuiteSketchupEnscapeProblem solverCommunication skillsTeam player

Required

A professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from an accredited institution
3-6 years of experience in progressive, design-focused firms
Experience in custom design residential projects
Exceptional design sense with strong graphic and technical skills (e.g., fluency in CAD, Sketchup, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite)
Team playing, flexible, and cooperative problem solver with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
Capable of taking direction and initiative with minimal supervision
Authorization to work in the U.S
