Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of homes across North America to sustainable energy use. They are seeking a Master Electrician to join their team, responsible for installing electric heat pump systems and collaborating with engineering teams to improve processes.

Responsibilities

Install required electrical to support heat pump installs

Calculate electrical loads

Upgrade main electrical panels as needed

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems

Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards

Test electrical systems for functionality and efficiency

Qualification

Required

Master electrician license to pull electrical permits

Well versed in newer technologies like SMART panels, splitters, sub-panels, to optimize when faced with main panel or full service upgrades

Well versed in modern electrical building codes

Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in electrical work

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams

Excellent problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks

Valid driver's license
