Responsibilities
Implement and maintain Cribl’s privacy program, including program management, identifying priorities, and ensuring compliance with global privacy laws and regulations
Provide practical guidance to product, marketing and other teams on legal and privacy issues, including on related generative artificial intelligence laws and regulations
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify issues, propose solutions and drive business outcomes
Remain current on the evolving privacy landscape, anticipate trends and educate team members accordingly
Negotiate privacy-related agreements in support of sales transactions
We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of privacy experience (CIPP/US and/or CIPM certification a bonus), preferably at an enterprise software and SaaS company or similar technical experience
Demonstrated proficiency with U.S. and global privacy laws, including GDPR & CCPA
Strong project management skills with an emphasis on being detail-oriented and organized and an ability to identify priorities and execute
Passion for privacy law, technology, and the intersection of each, as well as an eagerness to learn in a rapidly evolving landscape and growing business needs
Comfort in a remote environment, self-motivated to work asynchronously and independently while managing different time zones
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including cross-functionally
A collaborator with a great sense of humor and ability to think creatively
Juris Doctorate and a relevant license to practice law in good standing
