Responsibilities
Create basic 2D CAD drawings and simple 3D models based on engineer or technician input
Convert rough sketches, field measurements, and markups into accurate and detailed drawings
Collect and organize technical specifications from engineering criteria and manuals
Maintain digital files, drawing databases, and version control according to department standards
Ensure that all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
Assist senior drafters and engineers with routine tasks, following well‑established drafting procedures
Heavy industrial plant setting supporting maintenance, engineering, and operations teams
Work is routine and supervised
Qualification
Required
High school diploma plus certificate in drafting, CAD, or related technical area; or equivalent experience
6 months Minimum - working on a job site where you interacted with mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering drawings
Basic proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)
