Responsibilities
Inspect and document incoming raw materials, in-process product, and lot qualifications at various stages of manufacturing and distribution to ensure product quality and reliability
Assess and complete inspection reports and records, including accurate data entry into electronic systems (e.g., Word, Excel, SAP, Electronic DHR systems, Oracle Agile)
Generate, review, and maintain quality system documentation such as device history records and training records
Verify that equipment calibration status is current and within acceptable use timeframes
Support Quality Manager during regulatory authority and notified body audits and inspections
Work from specifications, work plans, procedures, and general instructions provided by Quality Engineers, Quality Supervisors, or Quality Management
Maintain and enforce cGMP compliance at all times
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs)
Notify Quality or Operations leadership of any discrepancies that could impact product quality or operational safety
Maintain a clean and organized work environment suitable for medical device manufacturing and cleanroom operations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to accurately maintain detailed records
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in English, with the ability to read technical documentation, communicate clearly, and write effectively
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Experience working in a laboratory or cleanroom environment within the medical device industry
Familiarity with measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, tensile testers, video microscopes, and optical gauging equipment
Experience using stereoscopes and various microscope systems
