Responsibilities
Champion the organization’s core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity in all interactions with stakeholders, partners, and team members
Developing, orchestrating, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines
Developing data integrations with ERP, SIS, LMS, CRM and other transaction systems
Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Building OLAP, virtualization and visualization and reporting software
Data Integration and Collaboration: Ensure smooth integration of diverse data sources, maintaining data quality, consistency, and accessibility
Work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to understand and address data requirements
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
Implement best practices for data security, compliance, and governance
Cross-Functional Support and Collaboration: Build strong cross-functional relationships to address data-related technical issues and provide actionable insights. Partner with DevOps and IT teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of data infrastructure
Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends. Identify and propose improvements to enhance data infrastructure and processes

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree is a plus)
Demonstrated experience across multiple operating systems: Windows, Unix/Linux, Mac
Experience with data profiling, data quality, master data management, and metadata management; detail-oriented with excellent problem identification and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team; robust collaborative, proactive, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues from varying backgrounds
Skilled in ETL tools and processes
Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building data lakes
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with data security and governance best practices
Preferred
Cloud computing experience with one of the leading vendors: Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
