Marketing Manager (Mid-Level)
Amata Law Office Suites is a law-first office and community platform for legal professionals. They are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to translate strategic direction into coordinated marketing plans and manage execution across various campaigns and events.

Responsibilities
Translate CEO direction and business goals into quarterly and monthly marketing plans
Build and maintain a practical marketing calendar covering digital, broker outreach, events, and community initiatives
Plan and coordinate campaigns across: SEO/website and local internet marketing (with our digital agency), Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting, LinkedIn and email outreach (e.g., via Outworks and cold email vendors), Podcast content and promotion
Create clear campaign briefs (objective, ICP, offer, channels, timelines, metrics) for vendors and, later, for your Assistant
Act as the main point of contact for: Digital agency (SEO/SEM, website, content support), LinkedIn outreach provider, Cold email provider, Podcast production partner, Freelance writers and designers
Define what success looks like for each partner; review results, give feedback, and recommend changes when needed
Own strategy and execution of Amata’s Preferred Partner Program
Define partner criteria, tiers, and benefits with the CEO
Recruit and onboard new preferred partners and set expectations
Plan and coordinate joint marketing activities: Co-hosted events and CLEs, Educational sessions and webinars, Portal features, Watercooler highlights, and social promotion
Track partner performance (referrals, engagement, event participation) and recommend renewals or adjustments
Design and oversee broker-focused marketing: Outreach cadences (email, LinkedIn, touchpoints), Broker-specific offers and informational assets
Ensure digital channels (SEO, ads, LinkedIn, cold email) and broker programs work together to drive quality tours and inquiries
Personally plan and run member-facing events across centers: Breakfasts/coffee gatherings, CLEs and educational sessions, Evening networking and social events, Preferred Partner and PSO-hosted sessions
Handle logistics: Room booking, catering, invitations, reminders, RSVPs, and on-site check-in
Promote and support: Client portal adoption (helping clients onboard, sharing updates), Referral program activities (promos, tracking, basic follow-up)
Capture photos and short stories from events and share them with vendors/freelancers for content
Shift these execution tasks to the Assistant while you: Set the calendar and priorities, Define success metrics, And oversee quality and consistency
Identify content priorities and topics based on our legal ICPs (solo founders, growth-minded firms, independent practitioners, PSOs)
Create outlines/briefs for: Blog posts and web content, Email newsletters and nurture sequences, Podcast episodes and promotional clips
Review and approve drafts from freelancers and vendors for clarity, accuracy, and brand voice
Build simple dashboards and reports to track: Lead sources and lead volume, Cost per lead and cost per tour, Referral and portal adoption metrics, Event participation and impact
Own monthly marketing reviews with the CEO: What’s working, what’s not, and what we’re changing next
Refine processes so marketing becomes more predictable and easier to run—especially once the Assistant is in place
Once the timing is right, help define, recruit, and hire a Marketing & Event Planning Assistant
Onboard and train them on: Events, portal promotion, referral program tasks, Vendor coordination and basic reporting
Provide weekly direction and coaching so they become a reliable execution partner
Qualification
Required
4–8 years of marketing experience, ideally in: B2B services, professional services, real estate, or multi-location businesses
Experience managing agencies or vendors (SEO/SEM, paid media, email, or social)
Willingness to be hands-on at the start—comfortable running events and doing execution while we build the team
Strong project management and organizational skills; you like turning ideas into structured plans and action lists
Data-aware and curious about performance: familiar with basic metrics and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM, call tracking, email platforms)
Clear written and verbal communication; able to simplify information for leadership and vendors
Preferred
Experience with events or community-oriented marketing
Experience in legal, real estate, or co-working/flex space environments
Experience hiring or supervising junior team members
