Responsibilities
Prepare commission earnings by calculating payouts and validating system-generated results for accuracy and completeness
Research and respond to inquiries related to adjustments, invoices, freight, returns, and other commission-impacting items
Process both automated and manual adjustments to commission data as required
Generate reports and commission statements using transactional and compensation-related data
Validate incentive targets and reporting hierarchies across the Sales organization to ensure correct alignment
Support testing activities for compensation system enhancements and new system implementations
Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, or improve commission processes to increase accuracy and reduce processing time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales operations, analytics, finance, or accounting
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel skills preferred
Preferred
Familiarity with systems such as AS/400, TrueComp, or ChangePoint is a plus
