Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve process, material, or equipment issues to minimize downtime
Work with Manufacturing and Test & Automation Engineering teams to recommend improvements
Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems
Assist with training manufacturing employees on new equipment, tooling, or process changes
Place and organize materials, tools, fixtures, and equipment to maintain an efficient workspace
Promote Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the floor
Support and maintain 5S standards and promote a safety-first culture
Assist with the deployment of digital tools across the factory
Troubleshoot Windows and Linux-based system issues

Qualification

PLC operationsElectro-Mechanical TechnologyMechanical blueprint readingMicroprocessors understandingNational Electrical Codes knowledgeCommunication skillsSelf-motivatedTeam collaboration

Required

Familiarity with PLC operations, including hardware, programming, data communication, and troubleshooting
Basic understanding of microprocessors, software interaction, and I/O concepts
Able to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
Knowledge of National Electrical Codes and industry-standard troubleshooting practices
Must be local to Tualatin, OR (no relocation or remote work available)
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
An in-person interview is required with two hiring managers

Preferred

2-year degree in Electro-Mechanical or Electronic Technology + 2 years of related work experience
OR: 5+ years of hands-on electromechanical technician experience
Strong EE/Engineering background/Manufacturing Experience in industry
Strong testing experience
Strong Test/Automation experience will be preferred
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexible to occasionally start early or stay late, depending on production needs
Strong communication skills and ability to cope in high-pressure environments
Committed to quality, safety, and team collaboration
