Responsibilities
Develop secure, reliable, maintainable, and scalable frontend components for client/server web applications using modern frameworks
Write automated unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Revise, update, refactor, and debug existing code
Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback from peers
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to implement features that improve site engagement and traffic
Stay up to date with industry terminology, concepts, and best practices in web development
Provide technical support, identify issues, and communicate resolutions to the team
Occasionally work weekends/nights for maintenance and support activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent education and experience in software development
0-2 years of experience in software development, including client/server web applications
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (Vue preferred)
Familiarity with using git for version control
Basic knowledge of SQL queries and database interactions
Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Ability to work quickly, independently, and collaboratively in a team environment with a focus on delivering high-quality work
A curious drive with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Disciplined, dynamic, and flexible approach to work
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal and customer management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated work ethic and willingness to work extended hours as required
Preferred
Experience with Drupal CMS and hosting on Acquia
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and work item tracking systems such as Jira or Azure DevOps
