Responsibilities
Lead architecture, design, development, and deployment of scalable, low-latency, high-throughput APIs
Build and optimize backend services using Golang (Go) and Node.js (TypeScript)
Design, build, and tune GraphQL APIs for performance and reliability
Drive frontend engineering practices using React + TypeScript (clean, reusable, scalable components)
Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and best-practice enforcement
Partner with product/design/business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features end-to-end
Ensure system performance, scalability, security, and observability through thoughtful design and proactive monitoring
Define and implement engineering standards including testing strategy, CI/CD, and deployment best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical lead capacity
Strong hands-on experience with BOTH Golang (Go) and Node.js (TypeScript)
Hands-on experience building and optimizing GraphQL APIs
Proficiency with React and TypeScript for modern web applications
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Preferred
Experience with real-time systems, caching strategies (e.g., Redis), or event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka)
Experience operating systems at scale with strong performance and reliability requirements
