SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER ENGINEER

The Senior Project Manager Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of Product Development Projects within the Relays Business Unit, driving the performance of multiple high-profile projects and maintaining communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
All aspects of Project Management from project inception to completion
Working with global multi-disciplinary teams to engineer and manufacture relay products in a regulated environment
Risk Management and leadership of Risk Assessment activities
Development of the Project Business Case alongside the Business Office
Reporting on Project status and being accountable for project progress against the Plan
Defining all necessary requirements, alongside Subject Matter Experts, for the Relay Product(s) being developed by the project
Escalation of issues as applicable and utilisation of project change controls
Managing and being accountable for a project budget, liaising with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of goods and materials
Liaising with customers and suppliers globally
Evaluating project engineering designs and tracking project completion within budget and scheduling constraints
Reviewing reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address execution problems
Participating in the development of project schedules, work plans, technical estimates, and design documents
Monitoring project health, safety and integrity through compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of progressively responsible, professional level experience in a manufacturing environment within a regulated industry
All aspects of Project Management from project inception to completion

Risk Management and leadership of Risk Assessment activities

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). You must be a U.S. Citizen or National, U.S. lawful Permanent Resident, person granted Asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a Refugee
Preferred
Project Management Professional (e.g. PMP, Prince 2, APM certifications), preferred
