Customer Service technician
ESCOMATIC USA is seeking an Application & Service Technician to support customers throughout the full lifecycle of their machines. The role involves diagnosing and resolving issues, supporting machine commissioning, and training customers on machine operation and process setup.
Responsibilities
Support customers throughout the full lifecycle of our machines, from application setup to troubleshooting and service
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues
Supporting machine commissioning and maintenance
Optimizing applications to ensure reliable production performance
Training customers on machine operation, tooling, and process setup
Acting as a technical interface between the customer, sales, and engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Application & process support: Ability to set up, optimize, and support machining applications in a production environment
Technical diagnostics & troubleshooting: Strong capability to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues
Service & maintenance skills: Experience with machine servicing, preventive maintenance, and on-site technical support
Customer-facing skills: Comfortable working directly with customers, communicating clearly, and providing pragmatic solutions
Electrical knowledge: Solid understanding of electrical principles related to industrial machinery
Training & documentation: Ability to train operators and maintenance staff on machine use, applications, and best practices
Preferred
Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and process documentation
Ability to work efficiently under time pressure
