As a CAD Technician I, you will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into precise CAD drawings that support gas pipeline projects across the country.

Responsibilities
Transform ideas into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD
Draft structural details, plotting profiles and cross-sections using topographical data
Support field survey crews by gathering measurements and data needed for drawing updates
Calculate layouts, rights-of-way, and street dimensions
Design concrete and steel supports for above-ground and underground pipeline systems
Create both preliminary and final sketches, and generate as-built drawings once construction is complete
Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or design coordinators
Use survey data to produce contour and erosion control drawings
Qualification
Required
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
Preferred
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Design and Drafting Technology or a related field
Experience in utility or pipeline drafting is a plus
