Responsibilities
Producing and post producing social media videos, content series, and 'edutainment' videos
Project managing simple to highly complex, integrated campaigns
Managing schedules, budgets, goals, and solutions for project stakeholders and teammates from concept through to delivery
Contributing to the coordination of production studio’s scheduling
Bidding projects in order to manage budget expectations
Tracking project costs from start to finish
Managing projects from start to finish, utilizing SoFi’s project management software
Demonstrating a clear understanding of resources needed to produce a project
Understanding of SoFi’s processes for onboarding and managing resources
Negotiating production related fees and contracts
Working with peers and supervisor to review creative briefs and matrices in order to understand and weigh in on project strategy and scope
Working collaboratively with cross functional partners to plan and prioritize marketing and advertising projects, and produce materials with the production team
Developing and managing start to finish production processes within the production studio
Leading and handling communications and workflows, ensuring effective exchange of information and accurate asset delivery
Navigating simultaneous project requests, prioritizing resources appropriately, and helping find solutions for associated challenges
Evaluating projects and anticipating risks that may arise, developing solutions, and managing stakeholders expectations accordingly
Producing, maintaining and advocating for the highest quality of creative possible within the given production parameters
Working with supervisor and marketing partners to evaluate project briefs and strategy in order to approach each project as efficiently as possible
Developing and maintaining project schedules, workflows, and house projections within project management software
Managing projects from request through to delivery, including scheduling, attending creative reviews, and gaining approvals from all stakeholders including legal and compliance teams
Organizing and maintaining digital asset library, including raw footage, b-roll, and final cuts, to facilitate content repurposing and scalability
Working closely with project management teammates in order to contribute to a culture of support, collaboration and kindness
Qualification
Required
4+ years of working experience acting as a producer in a production company, creative advertising agency or internal creative team with production capabilities
Demonstrable expertise in video/TV creation and production processes
Experience producing multiple types of creative assets in various formats
Production hardware and software savvy
Strong interest in social media content creation
Experience handling multiple vendor relationships
Experience leading creative reviews with production insights and suggestions that will help turn ideas into reality
Demonstrate deep familiarity with project planning, effective resource management and solid production decisions, and their effect on both creative output and your cross functional partner's requirements
Excel at managing expectations and are able to identify and articulate alternative solutions when changes arise
Ability to work comfortably in a very fast-paced, nimble environment
Ability to be flexible with change, and work with people possessing widely diverse working and communication styles
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail
Excellent time, prioritization, and project management skills
Understanding of creative studio processes, with creative advertising agency experience
Skilled in asset management
Preferred
Experience in Fintech or Financial industry is a plus
Being a sports fan is a plus!
Both production company and advertising agency experience is preferred
Proficiency in Workfront (and other project management tools) is a plus
Working knowledge of Adobe Cloud Service software and other post production software a plus
