This role involves designing and building API-driven backend systems, contributing to security-oriented architectures, and developing services in AWS environments while collaborating with a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

Designing and building API-driven backend systems to support fraud detection, identity, and security initiatives
Contributing to security-oriented architectures, including CIAM implementations
Developing and enhancing services in AWS-based environments
Working primarily on backend-focused full stack development, with an emphasis on scalability and reliability
Collaborating with a high-performing team that continuously challenges existing patterns and processes
Supporting projects where security, performance, and resiliency are non-negotiable

Qualification

Required

Strong experience with Node.js in production environments
TypeScript proficiency (core language for the team)
Solid AWS foundations (cloud concepts, deployment, services)
Experience building and consuming APIs, including: REST APIs, GraphQL APIs
Backend-focused development experience within distributed systems

Preferred

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as: Lambda, EC2, Other core AWS services
Experience with Python (secondary preference)
Experience with Java (acceptable but not primary)
Exposure to streaming or data processing concepts (e.g., AWS Flink or similar technologies)
Any background working on fraud, security, identity, or authentication/authorization systems
