DLR Group is an integrated design firm committed to enhancing the human experience through design. They are seeking a Summer Intern for their Design Technology team to assist in producing designs for various types of buildings while gaining valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Perform periodic quality assurance reviews of Revit models and report back to design teams performance issues and assist with resolution
Assist in BIM Execution planning meetings and setup of projects through our project startup portal
Assist with reality-capture Revit modeling of existing conditions from point clouds
Assist with conducting Clash detection reviews for projects
Develop Revit content and implement standards changes into active Revit project files
Assist with the management of BIM 360 project sites

Qualification

Required

Enrolled in a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree program
Experience with Revit
Experience with Dynamo, Grasshopper or a programming language
Excellent visual, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
Completed 3 years of design education prior to the start of the internship
Ability to prioritize and manage many different tasks
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
