Responsibilities
Creates PRC and PRCC documents to pay judicial branch invoices
Reviews invoices for compliance with contract requirements and for compliance with KCOJ policy
Ensures requesting departments process invoices in compliance with AOC policies and procedures
Researches and resolves any invoice discrepancies
Notifies vendors of invoice rejection and reason for rejection
Interacts with vendors when required to promote resolution regarding invoice and/or payment issues
Selects appropriate accounting templates, object codes and location codes in Emars to allow for consistent reporting
Effects disbursements in compliance with KCOJ policies and procedures
Assists with audit requests related to the accounts’ payable function
Stamps, sorts, matches, and files invoices, purchase orders and other accounting documents
Maintains auditable records and files, communicates with elected and non-elected officials as needed
Monitors procedures related to year-end closing and ensures accurate transition to new year
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Related Field
Must have 1 year of related experience
Associate degree in Business Related Field and Three (3) YRS of related experience OR HS Diploma and Five (5) YRS of Related Experience
