Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise data models, schemas, and standards
Define data flows and integration patterns between systems
Oversee logical and physical database design for performance and scalability
Collaborate with DBAs on optimization and capacity planning
Establish data quality, security, and compliance standards
Implement metadata management and maintain a data dictionary
Design and optimize ETL processes for data warehousing and analytics
Ensure interoperability between on-prem and cloud systems
Work with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
Provide guidance on data modeling best practices
Ensure data architecture meets performance SLAs and security requirements
Implement encryption, access controls, and audit mechanisms
Evaluate emerging technologies (cloud, big data, AI/ML) for adoption
Recommend improvements to existing data architecture
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing and maintaining enterprise data models, schemas, and standards
Proven ability to define data flows and integration patterns between systems
Strong knowledge of logical and physical database design for performance and scalability
Experience collaborating with DBAs on optimization and capacity planning
Ability to establish data quality, security, and compliance standards
Experience implementing metadata management and maintaining a data dictionary
Proficiency in designing and optimizing ETL processes for data warehousing and analytics
Experience ensuring interoperability between on-prem and cloud systems
Ability to work with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
