Responsibilities

Own the broader technical vision and strategy of Cloud Engineering Productivity (CEP) and core security services that power CEP Security, including alignment with Chrome Engineering and Workspace product areas
Own the technical vision and strategy for browser-first detection and response working closely with Google SecOps
Enable a strong engineering and technical excellence culture including reliability and operational health
Bring an AI-first mindset to engineering and technical architecture, strategy, and execution

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience programming in C++
5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects
