Patient Service Representatives (Bilingual Spanish/English)- Boricua
Urban Health Plan, Inc. is dedicated to improving community health and quality of life through affordable healthcare. They are seeking a Bilingual Patient Service Representative to assist patients with information, registration, and appointment scheduling at their Bronx health center.

Responsibilities
Greets patients and identified their needs
Verifies insurance information through managed care website
Answers incoming calls and takes messages for providers
Registers patients, assigned PCP (when applicable), checks demographic information, updates information as needed
Schedules appointments and reschedules appointments
Helps to maintain charts and provides administrative support to the department
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with clerical/administrative functions is required, ideally in a health care setting
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients
Understanding of phone etiquette and standard office procedures
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
