Human Resources Coordinator

Responsibilities

Coordinate employee pre-boarding and new hire orientation activities in collaboration with Education & Training, at the direction of the HR Director
Schedule orientation sessions and manage onboarding checklists
Perform accurate HR data entry for employee lifecycle events (new hires, job changes, pay updates, leaves, terminations)
Manage onboarding and offboarding documentation through the HRIS (UKG / Workforce Go)
Support benefits enrollment and employee HRIS self-service
Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee pay records, including prevailing wage support
Maintain electronic personnel files and ensure HR data accuracy and compliance
Coordinate Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks and driver compliance tracking as needed
Support performance evaluation cycles and HRIS workflows
Serve as a point of contact for employee HR inquiries and escalate issues as appropriate
Assist with wellness programs, employee recognition events, newsletters, and company meetings
Provide on-site HR support at job sites as needed
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Required

1–2 years of HR administrative, HR data entry, payroll, or related experience
Experience with HRIS platforms required; UKG / Workforce Go experience strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills and ability to work with employees at all levels
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
