The Ingredient Technician will be responsible for mixing and dispensing ingredients, maintaining lot number integrity, and ensuring compliance with batch records and cGMP rules.

Responsibilities
Read and follow very specific batch records to mix and dispense all types of ingredients into various containers
Maintain lot number integrity for all ingredients
Accurately and completely record all required information on the batch records
Maintain a daily cleaning log
Proficient use of scan guns to check bar codes, verify proper materials and move containers of flavors, colors and actives
Responsible for hygiene and housekeeping of the entire room and equipment / containers used
Calculate raw materials needed for ingredients
Work closely with the Quality Department to ensure proper batch records are issued according to production needs
Responsible for proper inventory control (requisitioning and usage inputs)
Responsible for constant communication with the department Supervision to determine needs
Follow cGMP rules while performing daily functions
Mathematically inclined – The ability to add, subtract and decimal calculations to meet measurement specifications
Qualification
Required
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience in a role that requires a high level of precision, accuracy, and attention to detail
Comfortable working with a partner and handling a variety of powders & liquids
Must be open to work any shift that is necessary depending on the business needs, including overtime
Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs
Basic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP SOP training and email)
Preferred
At least one year of experience working in a medical environment such as CNA/nursing or at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience completing documentation in a cGMP manufacturing environment
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc
Prior experience in a quality role
