Quantum error correction and architecture intern
Logiqal, Inc. is on a mission to build the first scaled quantum computer by deploying millions of qubits. As a QEC/architecture intern, you will work with the QEC and software team to develop tools for fault-tolerant computing, contributing directly to quantum error correction projects that may lead to publications.
Computer Hardware
Responsibilities
Develop new tools for fault-tolerant computing with neutral atoms
Contribute to the approach to quantum error correction
Qualification
Required
Experience in quantum error correction
Experience in Stim simulations
Experience in writing decoders
Experience in fault-tolerant quantum compilation
Experience in optimizing quantum circuits for specific qubit hardware
Analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to design, build, debug, and iterate quickly
Working in a fast‑paced environment
Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to solve problems inspired by real hardware
Current student at the undergraduate, MS or PhD level at US-based institutions
